Meet The Facilitators:
Merryn Snare is a psychologist with extensive experience for over 40 years in assisting individuals with both personal and work related issues. Merryn has worked within the grief and trauma field, having counselled survivors of the Bali bombing in 2002, the 2007 Victorian bushfires, she also supported traffic monitoring staff and bridge workers after the Westgate Bridge tragedy in 2009. Merryn’s extensive work in the education and schools sector, brings an even great understanding and skill set to her trauma work.
Liz Power has been involved in the planning, facilitation and evaluation of a range or training relating to trauma, crisis intervention, psychological first aid, and organisational/workplace issues. As a provisional psychologist in the critical incident response, counselling and psychotherapy space, Elizabeth has worked with people experiencing a range of psychological issues such as trauma, family violence, workplace bullying, burnout, mood disorders and grief. Elizabeth enjoys sharing her passion for professional mental health and self-care with other practitioners, through training and her daily work life.
